Touring skis

MTN Pro range

The skis in Salomon’s MTN Pro range are ideal for those new to ski touring. Intermediate to advanced skiers looking for a versatile ski capable of handling all conditions will be delighted by the MTN 86 Pro. These skis, with their moderate dimensions, are highly efficient on the uphill thanks to their impressive lightness. In addition, the waist width provides excellent edge control on hardpack and groomed snow, while maintaining good float in powder. A true all-round touring ski that will win you over on every outing.

MTN Carbon range (80, 91 and 96)

The MTN Carbon skis from Salomon are designed for experienced ski tourers. Available in 80, 91 and 96 mm at the waist, their construction has been refined and now incorporates cork to provide enhanced vibration damping on rough terrain. With the narrower MTN Carbon models, you’ll outpace your companions on the climb, while the wider versions will let you fully enjoy the descent when snow conditions are prime.

Salomon MTN ski touring boots for men and women

MTN Summit Sport range

The entry-level model in the MTN Summit boot series, the Summit Sport features a lightweight Ultramid shell and a very comfortable liner. Its medium flex offers a wide range of motion, precise control and smooth flex on the descent. Designed for intermediate to advanced skiers, this Salomon boot will be your ideal companion for long backcountry adventures beyond the resort boundaries.

MTN Summit Pure range

The Summit Pure and Pure W boots are similar to the Summit Pro. With around 100 grams more per boot, that’s likely the main difference between the two models. While purists may pay close attention to this detail, those who value comfort and aesthetics will appreciate this beautiful design. Its lightweight and durable polyurethane shell makes it a reliable partner for exploring the mountains.

Note: as the soles are not standardised, this model is only compatible with Low-Tech pin bindings.

MTN Summit Pro range

The Salomon MTN Summit Pro and Pro W boots represent the brand’s premium ski touring model. Weighing just 1,100 grams per boot, they are remarkably light, allowing you to move effortlessly across the terrain. The ski/walk mechanism and customisable fit between 99 and 105 mm ensure comfort and a perfect anatomical fit. The use of Ultramid in the shell provides an excellent weight-to-power ratio. A real gem!

Note: as the soles are not standardised, this model is only compatible with Low-Tech pin bindings.

MTN Summit bindings

The Salomon MTN range also includes Low-Tech ski touring bindings. Several models are available, covering a variety of DIN adjustment ranges to suit skiers of all sizes and abilities.

MTN Lab helmet

The Salomon MTN Lab helmet is an exceptionally versatile model, perfectly suited for ski touring, as it is certified to both European and American standards for skiing, snowboarding and climbing. Its In-Mould construction combines a polycarbonate shell with an EPS foam liner for optimal lightness and protection.
Thanks to EPS 4D technology, impacts are better absorbed, while the Airflow system ensures excellent ventilation.
The Custom Dial Fit System provides a precise and comfortable fit, and the removable, washable AdvancedSkin ActiveDry merino wool lining offers outstanding thermal regulation.
