Skis designed for women

The Atomic Cloud range is divided into two main series: the Cloud C and the Cloud Q. Cloud C models feature narrower waists and prioritise quick edge-to-edge transitions and performance on groomed trails. Cloud Q skis use an All-Condition Piste Shape and offer greater width underfoot, delivering more versatile handling across the varied snow conditions encountered.

Depending on the model, Atomic uses different versions of its Revoshock technology to dampen vibrations and stabilise the ski. Construction also varies across the range, with a Densolite core on the most approachable models and wood cores with titanal reinforcement on the sportier options.

Cloud skis retain a pronounced camber profile to maximise edge contact and grip on piste. Some models also feature tip rocker to make turn initiation easier.

Cloud C range

The Cloud C family extends from the Cloud C7, designed for beginner to intermediate skiers, through to the significantly more performance-oriented Cloud C14 Revoshock S. Waist widths remain narrow, ranging from around 69 to 72 mm depending on the model, clearly positioning this series as a piste-carving range.

The Cloud C7 prioritises ease of use. Its Densolite core, Dura Cap Sidewall construction and 10/90/0 Piste Rocker profile make changing direction and initiating turns easier. It is the most accessible model in this family.

The Cloud C9 Revoshock Light steps up the performance with a 72 mm waist and Revoshock Light technology. Intended for intermediate to advanced skiers, it remains forgiving while providing greater stability as the pace increases.

The Cloud C11 Revoshock Light also features a 72 mm waist but notably adds TI Powered reinforcement. It is designed for more performance-focused piste skiing and suits those seeking improved edge hold and response.

With a 69 mm waist, the Cloud C12 Revoshock C returns to an even more carving-specific shape. Its Revoshock C technology, wood core and TI Powered reinforcement support advanced to expert skiers who prioritise precise turns on groomed snow.

The Cloud C14 Revoshock S is the most performance-oriented model in the C series. Its 69 mm waist, Active Camber, wood core, TI Powered reinforcement and Revoshock S are geared towards precise, aggressive skiing on piste. Atomic designed it for advanced to expert skiers seeking race-inspired performance.

Cloud Q range

The Cloud Q models remain piste skis, but their All-Condition Piste Shape and increased waist width make it easier to vary turn radius while maintaining support as the snow softens and becomes more variable.

The Cloud Q8 is the entry point to this family. With a 76 mm waist, Densolite core and Dura Cap Sidewall construction, it focuses on ease of use and suits beginner to intermediate skiers looking to progress.

The Cloud Q9 increases the waist width to 77 mm and combines a wood core with Densolite. It delivers greater support and response while remaining accessible to intermediate and advanced skiers.

The Cloud Q11 has a 79 mm waist. Its Light Woodcore and TI Powered reinforcement enhance stability and enable a wider variety of turn shapes. It is aimed at intermediate to advanced skiers seeking a more dynamic piste ski without the strongly carving-focused character of the sportiest Cloud C models.

The Cloud Q14 Revoshock S sits at the top of the Q series. With a 75 mm waist, Multi Radius Sidecut, Revoshock S, Light Woodcore and TI Powered reinforcement, it combines increased power with the ability to alternate between short turns and long arcs. It is designed for advanced to expert skiers looking for a high-performance piste ski capable of adapting to changing conditions throughout the day.

Cloud C or Cloud Q: which should you choose?

Your choice primarily depends on the handling characteristics you prefer. The Cloud C models are the most suitable when carving performance is the priority, with rapid edge changes and precision on groomed snow. The Cloud Q series retains this piste-focused character but offers greater versatility for varying turn shapes and skiing when the snow becomes more uneven or chopped up.

At an equivalent ability level, the Cloud C should therefore not be viewed as a higher-end range than the Cloud Q. They simply represent two different approaches to piste skiing.

Atomic Cloud ski poles

To complete your set-up, Atomic also offers Cloud ski poles. This family retains the range's distinctive styling and includes several models designed for piste skiing.
