Völkl Racetiger ski range: a benchmark on the slopes

Many built-in technologies

Every ski in the Racetiger line boasts advanced technologies that make Völkl’s reputation. You’ll find multiple techs such as:

  • 3D.Glass: this technology uses tree dimensional fiberglass layers that wrap the ski’s core. It increases power transfer, improves torsion, and boosts the ski’s responsiveness. The result is better grip and more even flex, offering optimal turning performance.
  • Tailored Carbon Tips: carbon tips make the front of the ski significantly lighter. This weight reduction at the tips improves the manoeuvrability, makes turn initiations easier and reduces vibrations, enhancing fluidity and precision.
  • Full Sidewall ABS: this full ABS construction improves the connection between the ski’s core and edges. It offers direct and precise power transfer, improves the ski’s durability while guaranteeing exceptional edge hold, even in the most challenging conditions.

Who are Racetigers skis aimed at?

Völkl Racetiger skis are especially designed for seasoned skiers who already have a solid experience on the slopes. The result of years of research and innovations, these skis are aimed at those seeking to push their boundaries, hone their skills and experience thrilling sensations on every lap. Their advanced design and cutting-edge technology make them ideal for skiers with great control who need unrivalled performance and precision. While the Racetiger range includes skis for multiple disciplines, from slalom to giant slalom, they require some expertise to be fully exploited. Völkl hasn’t forgotten young skiers with Junior models. They’re developed to follow children as they progress, offering a balance between performance and forgiveness.

Multiple models: SL, RC, SC, GS or even Junior

Völkl Racetiger SL: design specifically for slalom, this model is agile, quick, and precise and offers World Cup level performance. Its construction provides excellent response on short turns, making it ideal for skiers who enjoy tracing fast and precise trajectories.

Völkl Racetiger RC: the epitome of a versatile ski. It combines the speed of the GS with the agility of the SL, making it perfect for those seeking a high-performance ski for all types of runs.

Völkl Racetiger SC: a ski for speed-freaks that still want to have fun tracing turns. Its design provides great high-speed stability while being fun when turning.

Völkl Racetiger GS: inspired by giant slalom skis, this model is cut for pure speed and wide turns. Its long tip and stiff construction make it stable even at high speed, ideal for those who love long turns and intense sensations.

Völkl Racetiger Junior: because kids also deserve quality, this model is adapted to their body weight and level. It’s easy to handle to progress fast.

PRO models: for expert and professional skiers, Völkl offers the Racetiger PRO models. These skis feature the brand’s latest innovations and are designed to offer maximum performance.

Which Völkl Racetiger skis to choose?

The answer to this question depends mostly on your skiing style and what you aspire to do. The Racetiger range is rich and diversified, offering models adapted to every type of experienced skier. If you’re into slalom, and seek agility and responsiveness for short turns, the Racetiger SL is your ideal partner. For those seeking a versatile ski capable of combining speed and agility, the Racetiger RC is the perfect option. The Racetiger SC is aimed at skiers who like speed while being able to have fun tracing turns. It is stable at high speed. For those who love long trajectories and thrills, the Racetiger GS, inspired by GS skis, is the one. For kids, the Racetiger Junior is especially designed to follow them as they progress while guaranteeing safety and fun. Finally, experts and pros have the PRO models at their disposal for maximum performance.
