How to Wash Your Patagonia Fleece?

Prefer Low-Temperature Washing

A wash with cold or lukewarm water, using a gentle biodegradable detergent, ensures the longevity of your Patagonia fleece. Then, it is always advisable to dry your garment naturally. Using a tumble dryer, often too aggressive, could damage the components that make your fleece high-quality.

Do Not Use Fabric Softener

Indeed, fabric softener leaves a waxy residue during washing. This prevents quick-drying or moisture-wicking fabrics from working properly.

Do Not Iron Your Fleece

Patagonia fleeces do not need to be ironed. But if you absolutely must, be sure to check the care instructions on your product's label. If you see a symbol with an iron crossed out, categorically avoid ironing your fleece!
