How to Wash Your Patagonia Fleece?
While these tips are valid for the majority of sensitive garments, they are particularly important for caring for your fleece in the best way, maximizing your chances of keeping it in perfect condition for a long time.
Prefer Low-Temperature Washing
A wash with cold or lukewarm water, using a gentle biodegradable detergent, ensures the longevity of your Patagonia fleece. Then, it is always advisable to dry your garment naturally. Using a tumble dryer, often too aggressive, could damage the components that make your fleece high-quality.
Do Not Use Fabric Softener
Indeed, fabric softener leaves a waxy residue during washing. This prevents quick-drying or moisture-wicking fabrics from working properly.
Do Not Iron Your Fleece
Patagonia fleeces do not need to be ironed. But if you absolutely must, be sure to check the care instructions on your product's label. If you see a symbol with an iron crossed out, do not iron your fleece!
