What are the advantages of Bollé Phantom photochromic ski goggles?

Just as a refresher, a photochromic lens is a lens which can adapt its shade according to light conditions. It will change category depending on the current weather, which is perfect to ski all day long without the need to change your lens or snow goggles. Bollé has improved on this technology with Phantom, notably thanks to LTS innovative technology which guarantees the photochromic effect works even in lower temperatures. Without this accomplishment, standard photochromic lenses have a tendency to be less reactive in extreme cold conditions.

To go even further, Bollé offers Phantom+, a lens that is both photochromic and semi-polarised! Why only semi-polarised? A fully polarised lens can be dangerous in a mountain environment, by completely blocking glare, it also prevents you from seeing ice patches. With 50% polarisation, Phantom+ prevents this and combines good terrain perception and great visual comfort.
