Tikkina: performance and simplicity combined

The Petzl Tikkina is designed to offer quality lighting while remaining easy to use, embodying Petzl’s philosophy: creating intuitive gear to improve your experience in the great outdoors. The Tikkina stands out for its light weight and comfort, so much that you’ll almost forget you’re wearing it. With a feather weight of around 92 grams, it remains pleasant to wear over long periods of time.

300 lumens max output

In terms of technical characteristics, the Tikkina shines for its versatility. It offers a maximum output of 300 lumens, which is enough for many outdoor activities and daily use. Its design provides homogenous lighting, with multiple modes for different needs: a close-range mode for around camp or reading, and a mode for night hikes or runs. In addition, its maximum reach of 60 metres guarantees good visibility in the dark.

Various beams and 3 light levels

With the Tikkina, you get a range of light beams designed to meet your expectations, offering various levels of intensity. Choose a wide beam for sharp close-range vision, optimising the lamp’s running time. A mixed beam is also available, perfect to see well both near and far. This headlamp has three light levels: Max Burnt Time for the most battery life, Standard for a balance between power and running time, and Max Power for maximum light intensity. This lamp also has a red light mode, great to signal your position without blinding the people around you, available in continuous or strobe mode.

Hybrid Concept: Core chargeable battery or AAA options for great battery life

Another great strength of the Tikkina is its battery life. It runs on three AAA/LR03 batteries and is also compatible with the Petzl Core chargeable battery. With up to 100 hours of running time in economy mode, it’s a reliable companion for long expeditions without access to power sources.

Useful for various applications

The versatility of this headtorch makes it useful for a wide range of activities. It’s particularly appreciated for camping and hiking. Its light weight and comfort make ideal for hikers who walk long distances and need a reliable light source without adding too much weight to their backpack. On camping nights, the Tikkina offers enough light to cook, pitch a tent or read, while keeping your hands free.

Beyond camping and hiking, the Tikkina can also prove useful in your daily life. It’s a handy tool for do-it-yourselfers, providing precise lighting when working in tight and poorly lit areas.
