Blizzard develops piste, all-mountain, freeride and backcountry freestyle skis. The Stormbird, Phoenix and Firebird are designed for groomed slopes, with varying levels of performance and technical demand. The Anomaly and Black Pearl broaden the scope to mixed snow conditions, while the Rustler, Sheeva and Canvas move further towards freeride, powder and a more playful ride. Blizzard also offers several women’s skis, particularly within the Phoenix, Black Pearl and Sheeva ranges.

Blizzard Stormbird: accessible and performance-focused piste skis
The Stormbird models are directional skis designed for the piste. The Stormbird 72 Ca, 76 Ca and 80 Ca feature a Trueblend Piste core and a construction engineered to remain easy to handle. The narrower models promote quick edge changes, while the Stormbird 80 Ca provides a more stable platform when the snow becomes softer or uneven. The Stormbird 80 Ti is aimed at more experienced skiers looking for greater support and precision.
Blizzard Firebird SRC or HRC: short turns or varied turn radii?
The Firebird SRC and HRC sit at the most performance-oriented end of Blizzard’s piste range. Their construction combines a Trueblend core with three layers of Titanal. The Firebird SRC is geared towards short turns and rapid changes of direction. The Firebird HRC uses a multi-radius sidecut, making it easier to alternate between short and long arcs. Both models are intended for advanced to expert skiers capable of harnessing a demanding construction.
Blizzard Phoenix: the women’s piste ski range
The Phoenix 72 Ca, 76 Ca and 80 Ca are built around a Trueblend Piste core and Blizzard’s women-specific W.S.D. design. The Phoenix 72 Ca is the narrowest and most direct model for progressing on groomed runs. The Phoenix 76 Ca delivers greater stability while remaining accessible and easy to control. With an 80 mm waist, the Phoenix 80 Ca feels more at home as the snow softens and conditions become more variable.
Blizzard Anomaly: the successor to the Brahma, Bonafide and Cochise
The Blizzard Anomaly range replaces the former Brahma, Bonafide and Cochise series. The Anomaly 84, 88, 94 and 102 combine a Trueblend core, 2 Ti construction and FluxForm All Mountain technology. The Titanal sections enhance support and power transfer, making these skis primarily suited to advanced and expert skiers.
The Anomaly 84 is the most piste-focused option. The Anomaly 88 and 94 progressively offer greater versatility in mixed snow and off-piste terrain. With a 102 mm waist, the Anomaly 102 moves further into freeride territory. The additional width improves float, but also makes the wider models less responsive from edge to edge.
Blizzard Rustler: from all-mountain to freeride
The Blizzard Rustler skis feature a Trueblend core and a FluxForm construction combining Titanal and fibreglass. With a 96 mm waist, the Rustler 9 is the most all-mountain-oriented model in the series. At 102 mm underfoot, the Rustler 10 is built for freeriding. The Rustler 11 reaches 114 mm and is the most specialised choice for deep-snow days.
The Rustler Team follows the same philosophy in a 90 mm-waisted model offered in lengths suited to teenagers and young adults. It is designed for all-mountain skiing, providing confidence on the piste while allowing skiers to discover freeriding progressively.
Blizzard Canvas: a freestyle approach to the backcountry
The Canvas 100, 108 and 118 differ from the Rustler models through their twin-tip shape and backcountry freestyle focus. Their poplar and paulownia core is paired with a lightweight fibreglass and carbon construction. Tip and tail rocker, complemented by reduced camber underfoot, makes them easier to pivot and promotes confident landings and a more unrestricted ride in both directions.
The Canvas 100 is best suited to varied use around the resort. The Canvas 108 increases float while remaining effective on groomed snow. The Canvas 118 is the most specialised model for deep-snow freestyle. Its additional width enhances flotation, but makes it less suitable for predominantly piste-based use.
Blizzard Black Pearl: a progression from 84 to 94 mm
The Blizzard Black Pearl models are all-mountain skis for advanced to expert women. The Black Pearl 84, 88 and 94 combine a Trueblend Woodcore, W.S.D. FluxForm All Mountain construction and a profile featuring camber underfoot with rocker at the tip and tail.
The Black Pearl 84 prioritises piste performance and quick edge transitions. The Black Pearl 88 is the mid-width option for alternating between groomed runs, variable snow and piste-side terrain. The Black Pearl 94 provides greater off-piste ability and performs better in soft snow, without becoming a dedicated powder ski.
Blizzard Sheeva: women’s freeride models
The Blizzard Sheeva range is the women’s counterpart to the Rustler series. With a 96 mm waist, the Sheeva 9 is the most versatile option for both piste and off-piste skiing. At 102 mm underfoot, the Sheeva 10 offers a stronger freeride focus and enhanced float in deep snow.
The Sheeva Team is designed for intermediate to advanced young female skiers. Its 90 mm waist and profile combining traditional camber with tip and tail rocker make it suitable for groomed slopes, mixed snow and first freeride outings.
