Description

The Blizzard Phoenix 76 Ca women’s ski & delivers a reassuring ride on groomed pistes, with a smooth and confidence-inspiring feel right from the first runs.

What is the intended use of the Blizzard Phoenix 76 Ca ski?

It allows you to ski comfortably around the resort with excellent stability, maintaining a fluid ride even as conditions change. The 76 mm waist offers a fine balance between precision and forgiveness. The traditional camber ensures solid edge grip on hardpack and provides a touch of rebound at the end of each turn. The tip rocker makes turn initiation easier, making the ski more manageable when the snow becomes variable. Its versatile turn radius lets you switch effortlessly between short turns and longer arcs.

Who is the Blizzard Phoenix 76 Ca ski designed for?

Perfect for beginner to intermediate skiers looking to progress confidently on-piste, with a ski that’s easy to handle and comfortable enough for full days on the slopes without causing excessive fatigue.

What are the strengths of the Blizzard Phoenix 76 Ca ski?

Forgiveness

Stability

Ease of use

Does the Blizzard Phoenix 76 Ca hold well on hard snow?

Yes. The traditional camber and flat tail ensure a firm edge hold when the piste is compact or icy.

Does the Phoenix 76 Ca tire your legs quickly?

No. The women-specific Trueblend Piste Woodcore keeps the ski lightweight and delivers a smoother ride through linked turns.

Can you vary turn shapes with this model?

Yes. Its versatile turn radius allows you to easily adjust turn length depending on speed and gradient.

How does it perform when the snow becomes variable?

The tip rocker provides a more progressive turn initiation and makes handling easier when the snow is uneven or transforming.

Does it have a lively or a more mellow character?

It skis with a rather gentle, smooth feel. The absence of a titanal plate favours a supple flex, while the carbon reinforcement retains just enough energy for a responsive ride.

Tips and advice

After using our calculator, you can explore further with our guides (depending on your skiing style):

And to see the method in action, here’s our video tutorial (example focused on piste / all-mountain skiing, with useful benchmarks whatever your style).

At glisshop.co.uk, you’ll find one of the most comprehensive ski selections available online. To choose the right pair, start with three simple criteria: your ability level, your preferred terrain (piste, all-mountain, freeride, freestyle, touring), and your budget.

To refine your selection, several options are available:

  1. The advanced search tool: located at the top of each category page, it allows you to filter by brand, skill level, discipline, and more. By combining these filters, you can quickly narrow down the range and easily find the models best suited to your skiing style.

  2. Contact us on 020 3129 3301: a pair of skis is a technical piece of equipment. Before placing your order, it’s best to make sure the model truly meets your expectations. Our team is here to advise you.

To go further and understand the differences between ski types, take a look at our comprehensive guide 'Which skis to choose?'.

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

- by our skiman : you can call us for any technical questions. Our skiman will do the final settings for you. Telephone : 020 3129 3301

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.

Setting the release value of your bindings is a major safety issue.

In order to fully function and ensure safety, your bindings need to be set according to the Afnor FD S 52-748 standard. We wrote down a guide to help you find out the release value matching your needs.
