Does the Go 115 grip on hard snow?

The inverted camber naturally limits edge-snow contact along the entire length, which reduces grip on groomed slopes and icy snow. The VA-Tech system, a vibration-absorbing rubber integrated under the binding, improves comfort and speed handling on firm snow, but this ski remains primarily designed for off-piste.

What type of core equips the Go 115?

A FSC/PEFC-certified solid poplar core. Movement uses no synthetic or wood-foam-injected composite cores. Wood guarantees responsiveness, longevity and a natural bounce in turn sequences.

Is the Go 115 stable in trafolle and heckled snow?

Yes. Double Plate Reinforcement (two fiberglass and Titanal plates integrated under the binding zone) solidifies the anchoring and maintains rigidity underfoot. Combined with VA-Tech and poplar core, the whole package absorbs shocks and filters out irregularities in broken snow.

How well does the sole of the Go 115 perform?

The ski is equipped with a P-Tex 4000 sole, a high-density sintered base that offers good glide and resists wear better than a standard extruded sole. It can handle abrasive snow without degrading rapidly.

How to choose the size of your piste and all-mountain skis?

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.
