Description

The Head Kore 94 Ti ski is a versatile freeride model featuring a Karuba/beech wood core and dual Titanal layers, designed for skiers seeking a ski that grips firmly on hardpack yet can confidently venture off-piste without switching equipment.

What is the Head Kore 94 Ti ski designed for?

With a 94 mm waist, it sits right on the boundary between piste and backcountry, offering enough width for floating in powder while maintaining the precision needed for carving on firm snow. The double rocker at the tip and tail makes turn initiation and pivoting in mixed terrain easier. The traditional camber underfoot ensures consistent edge contact throughout the turn for powerful rebound. Its long turning radius encourages wide, fast, committed arcs.

Who is the Head Kore 94 Ti ski for?

This ski is aimed at advanced to expert skiers who regularly alternate between groomed slopes and off-piste terrain, and who want a technical ski capable of excelling in both areas without major compromise.

What are the strengths of the Head Kore 94 Ti ski?

Versatility

Response

Edge hold

Is the Kore 94 Ti effective for carving on piste?

Yes. The dual Titanal construction and traditional camber provide the stiffness and grip required to charge through turns on compact snow. Its long radius favours big, committed turns rather than short, snappy ones.

Does the Kore 94 Ti handle chopped-up snow well?

Yes. The Titanal layers absorb vibrations and stabilise the ski on uneven, icy, or crusty snow. In such conditions, its stiffness becomes a genuine advantage.

Does the integrated graphene affect the ski’s feel?

It helps reduce weight without sacrificing rigidity, resulting in improved responsiveness to skier input and a livelier, more dynamic ride compared to a similar ski without graphene.

What’s the difference between the Kore 94 Ti and the Kore 88 Ti?

The Kore 94 Ti is slightly wider and leans more towards freeride use, offering better float in soft snow. The Kore 88 Ti remains more piste-focused with some off-piste capability, delivering greater precision on hardpack.

Tips and advice

After using our calculator, you can explore further with our guides (depending on your skiing style):

And to see the method in action, here’s our video tutorial (example focused on piste / all-mountain skiing, with useful benchmarks whatever your style).

At glisshop.co.uk, you’ll find one of the most comprehensive ski selections available online. To choose the right pair, start with three simple criteria: your ability level, your preferred terrain (piste, all-mountain, freeride, freestyle, touring), and your budget.

To refine your selection, several options are available:

  1. The advanced search tool: located at the top of each category page, it allows you to filter by brand, skill level, discipline, and more. By combining these filters, you can quickly narrow down the range and easily find the models best suited to your skiing style.

  2. Contact us on 020 3129 3301: a pair of skis is a technical piece of equipment. Before placing your order, it’s best to make sure the model truly meets your expectations. Our team is here to advise you.

To go further and understand the differences between ski types, take a look at our comprehensive guide 'Which skis to choose?'.

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

- by our skiman : you can call us for any technical questions. Our skiman will do the final settings for you. Telephone : 020 3129 3301

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.

Setting the release value of your bindings is a major safety issue.

In order to fully function and ensure safety, your bindings need to be set according to the Afnor FD S 52-748 standard. We wrote down a guide to help you find out the release value matching your needs.
