Description

Ladies, are you looking for a high-performance bispatulated ski capable of engaging in big conditions while retaining great capabilities on hard snow? Look no further than the new ski Icon 95 Women from Movement. Sporty and playful, this Mid-Fat will delight you whatever the snow conditions!

What's in the Movement Icon 95 Women's ski program?

As a brand specializing in freeskiing, Movement has equipped its Icon range with models designed specifically for women skiers. Double tip, double rocker and classic camber, the Icon 95 Women is naturally versatile, capable of hooking up on hard snow sections while retaining a very good ability to dejauge in fresh snow. The 95 mm at the skate means you can float on deep snow without any problems, and therefore have good skiability in big conditions. On hard snow, this width will be a little heavier to train in a sequence of cut turns, but it's still pretty lively. The Karuba wood core offers an excellent weight/power ratio, while the rubber insert of the VA-TECH system provides real gliding comfort by absorbing vibrations. Overall, the Icon 95 Women will let you enjoy the playability and instinctive feel that characterize Movement skis.

Who is the Movement Icon 95 Women ski designed for?

We recommend the Icon 95 Women for confirmed to expert skiers who offer fun and performance, both on big powder and in technical sections with packed snow.

Tips and advice

On glisshop.co.uk, you may feel overwhelmed by the amount of products we sell. How can you find the right skis, which ones can suit your level, your style or your budget?

Your options:

1. The advanced search engine: You'll find it everywhere on our website, as a sidebar on our listing pages. It allows you to select conditions and refine your selection: brand, level, style, etc. When you select them, only the relevant products will show.

2. You can contact us on the 020 3129 3301: skis feature fine technologies and affect your safety. It is important to make sure that the skis you've selected will suit you. Call our landline and get in touch with our team for any questions regarding these products.

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

- by our skiman : you can call us for any technical questions. Our skiman will do the final settings for you. Telephone : 020 3129 3301

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
