Description

The Session 90 features a lightweight Karuba wood core, a 5 Axis Carbon weave for minimal weight and maximum performance in a variety of conditions with an excellent torsional stiffness. This is a really performance-oriented ski, both in terms of its construction and its shape, with for example a flat heel rather than a double rocker for more grip and efficiency on hard snow. There is also a double titanium reinforcement plate under the foot to avoid ripping the bindings.

What is the Movement Session 90 ski program?

With the Session 90, Movement offers a high-end touring ski, light on the ascent (about 1,380 g per ski in a size 178 cm) but also very efficient and safe on descents. Thanks to its classic camber, flat tail and torsional rigidity, it offers an excellent level of grip, whether for conversion climbs or for descents on hard snow. The rocker and volume in the front tip, as well as the 90mm waist width, allow for flotation and lift in fresh snow. This is a touring ski with which you can go on long outings without experiencing difficulties on ascents, and which allows you to engage strongly on descents on varied terrains and conditions.

Who is the Movement Session 90 ski for?

We recommend this model to experienced or expert skiers looking for a high-performance touring ski, that offers an efficient and secure grip during ascents and descents, and an excellent skiability during descents on varied terrains.

Tips and advice

On glisshop.co.uk, you may feel overwhelmed by the amount of products we sell. How can you find the right skis, which ones can suit your level, your style or your budget?

Your options:

1. The advanced search engine: You'll find it everywhere on our website, as a sidebar on our listing pages. It allows you to select conditions and refine your selection: brand, level, style, etc. When you select them, only the relevant products will show.

2. You can contact us on the 020 3129 3301: skis feature fine technologies and affect your safety. It is important to make sure that the skis you've selected will suit you. Call our landline and get in touch with our team for any questions regarding these products.

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

- by our skiman : you can call us for any technical questions. Our skiman will do the final settings for you. Telephone : 020 3129 3301

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
