Description

The Marker Alpinist 10 is a low-tech binding with a very low weight of only 490 grams per pair, but with great performance during descents. It transmits power very well thanks to its 38mm wide drilling template and actively compensates for the length when the ski flexes in support. 

The front edge is reinforced with carbon for an excellent weight/stiffness ratio and has elastomeric pads for ice protection and boot-fitting ease. 

The heel pad offers three levels of wedge (0°, 5° and 9°) and allows you to easily switch from ascent to descent mode. It allows you to add ski stops (compatible with Marker Alpinist brakes), which is quite rare on such a light binding. 

The binding offers a total adjustment of 15mm. 

Please note that this binding comes with a Medium U-bow which is a DIN 8. We recommend that smaller skiers (55kg and under) change the U-bow in the heel piece to a Soft U-bow, as it will be equivalent to a DIN 6 and will make it easier to put on.
