Description
The Schwarztor 100 is a highly versatile freetouring ski developed by Ogso. It has a twin-tip shape, designed for skiing both forwards and backwards. Its mid-fat width (104 mm in size 178 cm) makes it extremely versatile, allowing you to ski in a wide range of snow conditions. Its double rocker gives it even more ease in the snow, absorbing all the irregularities of the terrain in the backcountry and providing great manoeuvrability with playful pivoting. The traditional camber provides the grip you need on groomed or hard-packed snow, while allowing you to take advantage of the pop and rebound offered by the Carbon Paulownia Ultralight. The result is a top-of-the-range construction with an excellent power-to-weight ratio. A multi-layer sandwich construction that benefits from numerous reinforcements in fibreglass, carbon, aramid and basalt, for a punchy result without being too radical, with very good shock and vibration absorption. All while keeping weight to a minimum, at just 1,325g per stick in the 170cm size. It's a top-of-the-range ski that will delight experienced/expert freetouring skiers looking for an ultra-high-quality ski with which they can throw down a few tricks in a wide variety of conditions.
