Alpine Ski Armada Invictus 85

Ski sold without binding.

Armada is worldwide famous for its astounding skis all widers than the others. Unfortunately, you can’t ride everyday super fat skis because of the lack of fresh pow or the lack of technique, Armada engineers came up with the all-mountain Invictus serie and the brand new Invictus 85, an easy access model endowed with a tip rocker designed to simplify manoeuvres in transformed snow. Its ultra light construction in kevlar and carbon also increases the handiness of the ski.

What can the Armada Invictus 85 ski do?

Armada pamper here the intermediate skiers who want to discover freeride skiing without sacrificing the pleasure of slope ski. The Invictus 85 is quite soft and forgiving, it stays super nimble and corrects trajectories on the way for you to improve your technique whilst having fun. The classic camber provides a good edge hold on prepared snow and ride itself with precision thanks to the lack of tail rocker. The Invictus 85 also invites you to explore wide open virgin spaces. With a minimum of speed, the tip rocker keeps you afloat in powder on the side of the slopes and beyond.

Who is the Armada Invictus 85 ski designed for?

We advise this all-mountain ski to intermediate skiers looking for a versatile ski, not too demanding physically to progress quickly and make the entire mountain their own playground.

What are the main assets of the Armada Invictus 85 ski?

Manufacturer info :

Type of turns

  • Multi-turns

  • Directional (front tip)  :

The ski shape allows only a directional use.

Structure - Construction

  • Carbon Kevlar  :

A blend of Carbon/Kevlar stringers that run along the tail of the skis to help stabilize it. This creates a better landing platform, especially when your weight is further back than intended. It also increases snap and adds pop to ollies .

  • AR50 Sidewalls  :

ABS sidewall meets cap construction – the best of both worlds. This engineering method combines the lightweight cap construction in the tip and tail with ABS sidewall underfoot, resulting in enhanced edgehold and significantly lower swing and overall weight.

  • Laminate matrix  :

We know from the core out exactly how each ski should react, so three kinds of fiberglass laminates are used in combination to deliver the exact amount of flex and torsional rigidity. Bi-axial fiberglass runs in an “x” pattern down the ski to control lateral flex. Uni-directional fiberglass controls flex along the length of the ski. And tri-axial fiberglass, with fibers running in three directions, beefs up the center of the ski. The permutations of the three fiberglasses are nearly limitless and allow us to precision tune the performance of every ski we make.

  • Power-Lite Core  :

Stability, power and control are paramount in this 100% woodcore enhanced with hardwood stringers. For those looking for the ultimate in smoothness comes the Power-lite core.

Rocker - Camber

  • AR Nose Rocker  :

Traditional sidecut profile with tip rocker for all mountain everyday ripping.

  • 2.2mm Edges  :

Heat treated, built to avoid excess weight while maintaining durability.

  • Comp Series Base  :

A World Cup-inspired base that requires higher maintenance than the S7, the Comp Series pays for the extra TLC it requires in one way: Speed.
