Alpine Ski Scott Punisher 95 W's

Ski sold without binding.

Seems like the new season is going to be ruled by women at Scott. The brand releases a bunch of new women-specific skis in their lineup and the Punisher 95 W’s is one of them. Adapted to their heights but not watered down, the skis come with a similar construction and the same flex as the men version. Only the ski lengths were shortened so better be ready for a blast.

What can the Scott Punisher 95 Women’s ski do?

This all-mountain women ski has definitely a bit of freeride DNA in its genes and you’ll realise that in seconds on powder. The tips start floating instantly above the surface and keep the ski ultra manoeuverable through the deep. Turns are smooth as silk and you keep full control even when powder turns into chopped up and tracked out snow. And the best is that the ski is not even difficult to manage. It is a great confidence inspiring quiver that can slalom through rocks and trees with a ridiculous ease and pick up speed to finish the run on a straight line. And if you have no choice but returning on groomed snow, even that won’t spoil your day. The powerful and snappy construction makes the ski stable at high speed with a solid edge bite on the hardpack. In a few words, the Punisher 95 W’s is a performance-driven / do-it-all / everyday shredder.

Who is the Scott Punisher 95 Women’s ski designed for?

This Scott ski is suited for intermediate and advanced women skiers who seek the ultimate all-terrain ski. Hard and soft snow, the ski doesn’t make a difference and rips it all. The Punisher 95 W’s will show you that the resort is much bigger than you think.

What are the main assets of the Scott Punisher 95 Women’s ski?

Structure - Construction

  • Tip to tail woodcore  :

The long woodcore gives the ski a more consistent flex and more fluidity through transitions.

  • Sandwich construction with slanted sidewalls and elliptic laminates  : FORGIVENESS & VERSATILITY - SSCL combines a laminate top and bottom sheet with a traditional sandwich sidewall construction. SCOTT optimized material usage to provide a construction that drastically reduces the weight of the ski. Specific braiding and different combinations of laminates guarantee the best possible construction for their intended use.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

  • Twin-Tip Rocker M  :

Twin rocker places rocker on both the tip and tail of twin tip skis to allow for maximum float when riding forward or switch. Tail rocker also improves ski handling by allowing the tail of the ski to sit deeper in the snow bringing the tip up resulting in total domination is deep snow.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

  • 3D Sidecut  :

Revolutionary technology combining 2 radius with a central straight sidecut, allowing twin rocker skis to be brilliant on off pist with an excellent edge grip on pistes.

  • Freestyle Finish  :

Scott Freestyle Finish is especially designed for a more playful freestyle ski. The main difference from the factory finish is the bigger base edge angle of 1.6°. This larger angle makes the ski easier to spin and more forgiving on landings and rails.
