We are selling skis with cosmetic defects. They are brand new, backed by the manufacturer's warranty, and have no manufacturing defects. The topsheet was slightly damaged during shipping or while in storage at our warehouse.

A condition rating system has been established. These skis have been rated 2*, meaning they have barely visible imperfections.

The Logic 86 from Movement is a versatile touring ski, accessible both technically and physically, that allows you to get started in ski touring while maintaining good skiability on hard snow. It features a lightweight, high-performance construction with a wood core reinforced with fiberglass for a good power-to-weight ratio.

What is the Movement Logic 86 ski line?

The Logic line is a range of hybrid models designed for ski touring that also make excellent alpine skis. With the Logic 86, a fairly lightweight model, you’ll be able to discover the joys of ski touring. You’ll barely notice it during the ascent, allowing you to conserve your energy to make the most of the descent. Whether on the piste or in powder, it offers excellent skiability thanks to its 86 mm waist, which gives it a certain versatility. As a result, it floats well in light powder and remains very maneuverable on hard snow. The tip rocker makes it easier to enter and exit turns and pivot, while the classic camber provides good grip on hard snow.

How to choose the size of your piste and all-mountain skis?

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
