Which Tecnica Cochise should you choose?

Model	Flex	Last width	Profile
Cochise 130 Dyn GW	130	99 mm	Advanced to expert skier looking for a firm hold
Cochise 110 Dyn GW	110	99 mm	Intermediate to advanced skier favouring a friendlier flex
Cochise HV 95 W Dyn GW	95	102 mm	Intermediate to advanced female skier with a wide foot

Last width remains the priority: a lower flex will not make up for a shell that is too narrow, while too much volume can reduce the precision of the hold. Once the boot shape suited to the foot has been identified, flex makes it possible to fine-tune the level of resistance desired under pressure.

Cochise 130 or Cochise 110 : two stiffness levels on the same 99 mm platform

Cochise 130 Dyn GW : the stiffest model

With its flex of 130, the Tecnica Cochise 130 Dyn GW is aimed at advanced to expert skiers who can handle a stiff boot. Its 99 mm last favours a close, precise fit for medium-width feet, or even slightly narrow feet depending on foot shape. It is better suited to riders who prioritise support and power transfer on the descent over flexing comfort.

Cochise 110 Dyn GW : a friendlier flex

The Cochise 110 Dyn GW keeps the 99 mm last and four-buckle closure of the Cochise 130, but its 110 flex requires less input to get the boot working. It is therefore aimed at intermediate to advanced skiers who want accurate support without opting for the stiffness of the 130 model.

Between these two models, the decisive difference is the flex rating. The Cochise 130 demands more assertive pressure, while the Cochise 110 gives more room for a less aggressive skiing style.

Cochise HV 95 W : 102 mm for wider feet

The Tecnica Cochise HV 95 W Dyn GW should not be seen as simply a softened women’s Cochise. This women’s version stands out above all for its HV 102 mm last, designed for wide feet. Its 95 flex is suited to intermediate to advanced use and offers less resistance than the Cochise 110 and 130.

Which criteria should you prioritise when choosing a Tecnica Cochise ?

The Tecnica Cochise range should be chosen according to three concrete criteria : foot width, flex and the balance between ascent and descent. The Cochise 130 Dyn GW and Cochise 110 Dyn GW are suited to medium-width feet with their 99 mm last, while the Cochise HV 95 W Dyn GW Camp Green meets the needs of female skiers looking for more room in the forefoot.
