Description

The Armada Bdog 94 ski features a striking design, reflecting the energy and inventiveness it unleashes once on your feet. As Phil Casabon's signature model, it's been conceived as the ultimate creative tool for expressing yourself freely on snow, both in the terrain park and beyond.

What is the Armada Bdog 94 ski made for?

Developed for all-mountain freestyle skiing, this model boasts a 94 mm waist, an ideal width to alternate between resort sessions and fresh snow adventures. Its Freestyle Rocker profile, with rocker at both tip and tail, makes pivoting, pressing and manoeuvring in powder effortless while ensuring smooth direction changes. The traditional camber maintains precise edge grip on hardpack, while its true twin-tip shape allows you to ride switch naturally. The poplar-ash core strikes an excellent balance of lightness, strength and responsiveness. AR75 sidewalls enhance durability alongside Impact Edge edges and an S7 Base designed to withstand landings, rails and boxes. Thanks to its revolutionary Circle Flex combined with ultra-soft tips and tails, the Bdog 94 delivers a unique flex for pressing, popping or sending tricks with maximum style, a favourite among creative freestyle skiers looking to push park boundaries whilst still exploring other areas of the resort.

Who is the Armada Bdog 94 ski aimed at?

The Bdog 94 is aimed at advanced to expert skiers who already have solid freestyle skills and want to keep growing their bag of tricks. Its playful character offers dynamism along with forgiveness that will appeal to inventive riders seeking a ski capable of fuelling their creativity yet versatile enough for venturing outside the park onto different terrains.

Tips and advice

After using our calculator, you can explore further with our guides (depending on your skiing style):

And to see the method in action, here’s our video tutorial (example focused on piste / all-mountain skiing, with useful benchmarks whatever your style).

At glisshop.co.uk, you’ll find one of the most comprehensive ski selections available online. To choose the right pair, start with three simple criteria: your ability level, your preferred terrain (piste, all-mountain, freeride, freestyle, touring), and your budget.

To refine your selection, several options are available:

  1. The advanced search tool: located at the top of each category page, it allows you to filter by brand, skill level, discipline, and more. By combining these filters, you can quickly narrow down the range and easily find the models best suited to your skiing style.

  2. Contact us on 020 3129 3301: a pair of skis is a technical piece of equipment. Before placing your order, it’s best to make sure the model truly meets your expectations. Our team is here to advise you.

To go further and understand the differences between ski types, take a look at our comprehensive guide 'Which skis to choose?'.

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

- by our skiman : you can call us for any technical questions. Our skiman will do the final settings for you. Telephone : 020 3129 3301

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.

Setting the release value of your bindings is a major safety issue.

In order to fully function and ensure safety, your bindings need to be set according to the Afnor FD S 52-748 standard. We wrote down a guide to help you find out the release value matching your needs.
