Description

The Victa 83 women's ski is a light and dynamic ski, offering a well-balanced level of performance and accessibility. It features a quality construction, with a poplar core backed by carbon and kevlar fibres for more bounce and durability, and equipped with "2.2 Impact Edge" reinforced edges to avoid losing a piece of edge on a badly placed pebble at the edge of the piste.

What is the programme of the Armada Victa 83 ski?

Unlike many Armada skis, the Victa 83 is a directional ski. With a raised spatula at the front and a flat heel, it is not designed to be skied backwards, but does offer good precision in turns. Its classic camber provides good grip on the piste and allows you to take full advantage of the ski's bounce to link turns with dynamism and work on your carving technique. The front spatula rocker makes curve entry easier and will even allow you to go through the small powder on the edges of the piste. With the Victa 83, you will have fun and you will chain the descents from morning to evening!

Who is the Armada Victa 83 ski for?

This model is intended for intermediate to advanced skiers, who ski mainly on piste and are looking for a ski that allows them to set the pace on the slopes while maintaining accessibility. Offering the playability and versatility of Armada skis, the Victa 83 will introduce a freeski and all-mountain spirit to the slopes.

Tips and advice

On glisshop.co.uk, you may feel overwhelmed by the amount of products we sell. How can you find the right skis, which ones can suit your level, your style or your budget?

Your options:

1. The advanced search engine: You'll find it everywhere on our website, as a sidebar on our listing pages. It allows you to select conditions and refine your selection: brand, level, style, etc. When you select them, only the relevant products will show.

2. You can contact us on the 020 3129 3301: skis feature fine technologies and affect your safety. It is important to make sure that the skis you've selected will suit you. Call our landline and get in touch with our team for any questions regarding these products.

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

- by our skiman : you can call us for any technical questions. Our skiman will do the final settings for you. Telephone : 020 3129 3301

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
