Description

The Kore 93 is a must have ski for the brand in the versatile freeride segment. It stands out due to its numerous innovations that offer great performance on all types of snow. Its lightness and manoeuvrability allow you to easily link curves for maximum pleasure.

What is the Head Kore 93 ski program?

Under the Kore 93, there is a construction worthy of a space rocket! Head has optimized it by retaining only the essential elements so as to maintain a ski that's light and rigid. The winning formula consists of a combination of graphene, Koroyd and Karuba for a blend of strength, lightness and tone. Resulting in a super easy to handle ski with an excellent power-to-weight ratio and a surprising stability at high speed. This lightweight pair of slats is ultra-manoeuvrable especially since its double rocker greatly assists during the linking of curves. On packed snow, it is very pleasant to ride with excellent grip thanks to its classic camber. As for its waist width of 93 mm, it provides a good flotation in powder snow. An excellent versatile ski, perfect to discover the whole resort especially as it can be mounted with touring bindings to venture even further!

Who is the Head Kore 93 ski for?

It is intended for an experienced skier looking for a light and tonic ski capable of performing in all snow conditions. A model capable of freeriding and also can be ridden in touring mode.

Tips and advice

On glisshop.co.uk, you may feel overwhelmed by the amount of products we sell. How can you find the right skis, which ones can suit your level, your style or your budget?

Your options:

1. The advanced search engine: You'll find it everywhere on our website, as a sidebar on our listing pages. It allows you to select conditions and refine your selection: brand, level, style, etc. When you select them, only the relevant products will show.

2. You can contact us on the 020 3129 3301: skis feature fine technologies and affect your safety. It is important to make sure that the skis you've selected will suit you. Call our landline and get in touch with our team for any questions regarding these products.

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

- by our skiman : you can call us for any technical questions. Our skiman will do the final settings for you. Telephone : 020 3129 3301

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
