Description

The Head Paw Patrol Jrs ski supports young children on their very first runs, whether on easy slopes or in beginner areas, with stable handling that helps them gain confidence and make turns one after another without fear. Its colorful Paw Patrol graphics make it a ski that kids can’t wait to put on.

What are the features of the Head Paw Patrol Jrs ski?

Designed for recreational skiing, this ski performs well on groomed snow and in beginner areas. Its 65 mm waist width makes it slim and lightweight, so it’s easy to turn even for legs that aren’t very strong yet. The tip rocker lifts the front of the ski early, which makes turning smoother and forgives minor mistakes. The UHM C Base ensures a smooth glide, which is helpful when you don’t have much speed yet.

Who is the Head Paw Patrol Jrs ski designed for?

Designed for young beginner to intermediate skiers who are just discovering skiing, this ski helps them progress thanks to its reassuring and accessible handling, which supports the child as they learn the basics. It’s available in very small sizes, suitable for children between 67 and 97 cm tall.

Does the Paw Patrol Jrs grip well on hard snow?

Yes. The classic camber maintains edge-to-snow contact along the entire length of the ski, providing solid and predictable grip on groomed and slightly firm slopes.

Is the Paw Patrol Jrs suitable for small turns?

Tips and advice

After using our calculator, you can explore further with our guides (depending on your skiing style):

And to see the method in action, here’s our video tutorial (example focused on piste / all-mountain skiing, with useful benchmarks whatever your style).

At glisshop.co.uk, you’ll find one of the most comprehensive ski selections available online. To choose the right pair, start with three simple criteria: your ability level, your preferred terrain (piste, all-mountain, freeride, freestyle, touring), and your budget.

To refine your selection, several options are available:

  1. The advanced search tool: located at the top of each category page, it allows you to filter by brand, skill level, discipline, and more. By combining these filters, you can quickly narrow down the range and easily find the models best suited to your skiing style.

  2. Contact us on 020 3129 3301: a pair of skis is a technical piece of equipment. Before placing your order, it’s best to make sure the model truly meets your expectations. Our team is here to advise you.

To go further and understand the differences between ski types, take a look at our comprehensive guide 'Which skis to choose?'.

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

- by our skiman : you can call us for any technical questions. Our skiman will do the final settings for you. Telephone : 020 3129 3301

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.

Setting the release value of your bindings is a major safety issue.

In order to fully function and ensure safety, your bindings need to be set according to the Afnor FD S 52-748 standard. We wrote down a guide to help you find out the release value matching your needs.

When buying a pair of skis, you will have to complete a form asking for your measurements. Please complete it with the most accurate information: it will allow our technicians to adjust precisely your bindings and lower down the risk of injury.
