With a 68 mm waist width, this ski is designed for groomed slopes and a series of tight turns. Its short radius facilitates rapid changes of direction and slalom turns. The Rebel camber maintains edge-to-snow contact along the entire length for solid grip on hard snow. The structured UHM C Race base ensures consistent glide between gates.

Does the E-Sl grip well on icy snow?

Yes. The Graphene World Cup Sandwich Cap construction—featuring graphene, aluminum, and the Rebel camber—ensures solid edge grip, and the EMC system filters out vibrations that could cause the ski to lose grip on the hardest surfaces.

Can the E-Sl make wide turns?

Occasionally, yes, but its short turning radius naturally leads it toward tight turns. For long, fast turns, the E-Race or E-Speed are better suited.

What’s the difference between the E-Sl and the E-Sl Pro?

Both share the same Graphene World Cup Sandwich Cap construction with EMC and the same short turning radius. The E-Sl Pro is mounted on a stiffer Raceplate WCR 14 SHORT, which provides a firmer energy transfer, whereas the E-Sl uses the Raceplate EVO 14, which is slightly more flexible in the ski-binding connection.

How to choose the size of your piste and all-mountain skis?

At glisshop.co.uk, you’ll find one of the most comprehensive ski selections available online. To choose the right pair, start with three simple criteria: your ability level, your preferred terrain (piste, all-mountain, freeride, freestyle, touring), and your budget.

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.
