The ski Kastle Rx12 Sl Premium is a racing and competition-oriented pure track model. It's a carving monster cut for slalom and designed to send very heavy stuff at high speed. Its very responsive and grippy behavior makes it a model suitable for time trial days and short turns.

With the Kastle Rx12 Sl Premium, we're clearly not into half measures. It's part of an on-track racing program, with a short radius for tight turn sequences. With its 68 mm skid, it privileges quick edge grip and instantaneous changes of stance. The classic camber and flat heel extend the ski/snow contact, for fantastic grip and powerful recovery at the end of the curve. The spatula rocker facilitates turn entry, while maintaining precise behavior on hard or groomed snow. Classic Sidewall sandwich construction with Infini Core Race wood core, double titanal plate, glass-carbon reinforcements and Hollowtech Race technology very effectively limit vibration, stabilize the ski at high speeds and optimize energy transfer at every touchdown to make it an ultra high-performance technical model.

How to choose the size of your piste and all-mountain skis?

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.
