The Black Pearl 82 is the slimmest model in the Blizzard's Black Pearl range of versatile, high-performance all-mountain skis. It is powerful with its sandwich construction incorporating titanal, but this thinness allows it to retain a certain accessibility, although it is still reserved for skiers with a good level.   

What is the program of the Blizzard Black Pearl 82 ski?   

This Blizzard women's ski has an 82mm ski skid and a camber + double rocker profile for manoeuvrability and versatility. The rigid flex of the wood/titanium sandwich and the grip of the classic camber offer a lot of efficiency on the piste, with a firm grip and a good stability. The waist width is not too wide and allows you to maintain a good edge-to-edge reactivity on hard snow. And it is combined with a well-marked rocker on the front and back of the ski, which also provides a little comfortable lift on soft snow and small powder on the edges of the piste. Perfect for a skier who likes to ski in a variety of conditions and is not limited to the groomed slopes.

How to choose the size of your piste and all-mountain skis?

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
