Description

The M-Vertical 88 F-Team is the racing department’s version of the M-Vertical 88, it features a specific wax job on the base and specific edge tuning for maximum performance during your sessions in the mountains. Thanks to its feather weight of 1.1 kg in 164 cm, you can swallow elevation gains at the speed of light while remaining nimble enough to descent with confidence.

What is the program of the Dynastar M-Vertical 88 F-Team ski?

The M-Vertical 88 F-Team is a pure gem. In its structure, you find a hybrid core combining paulownia wood and ultra-light polyurethane to literally fly in the ascents. You even find an Isomatex mineral fibre coating to provide stiffness and comfort by dampening the unevenness of the terrain. A true mountain ski to commit to couloirs and steep faces. On hard pack, it grips strongly thanks to the classic camber for easy kick turns and secure descents. While in powder, the 88 mm at the waist and front rocker allow to benefit from good handling and some floatability. This ski is really biased toward the ascents and requires good cardio.

Who is the Dynastar M-Vertical 88 F-Team ski for?

The M-Vertical 88 F-Team is exclusively for advanced or experts touring skiers looking for an ultra-light race ski to climb summits as fast as possible while retaining good responsiveness in the descents.

What are the main assets of the Dynastar M-Vertical 88 F-Team ski?

Lightweight

Great performance in the ascents

Responsive

Tips and advice

On glisshop.co.uk, you may feel overwhelmed by the amount of products we sell. How can you find the right skis, which ones can suit your level, your style or your budget?

Your options:

1. The advanced search engine: You'll find it everywhere on our website, as a sidebar on our listing pages. It allows you to select conditions and refine your selection: brand, level, style, etc. When you select them, only the relevant products will show.

2. You can contact us on the 020 3129 3301: skis feature fine technologies and affect your safety. It is important to make sure that the skis you've selected will suit you. Call our landline and get in touch with our team for any questions regarding these products.

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

- by our skiman : you can call us for any technical questions. Our skiman will do the final settings for you. Telephone : 020 3129 3301

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
