Who Are the Faction Prodigy Skis For?

The unisex Prodigy range offers a variety of skis for all ability levels. Numbered from 0 to 4, each model corresponds to a specific skill level, from beginner to advanced/expert. There’s something for everyone.

Prodigy 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 Skis : 2025-2026 collection

  • Prodigy 0: ideal for beginners looking to get into freestyle skiing. It’s easy to handle and highly forgiving. Its waist width provides pleasant float in powder while remaining agile on groomers.
  • Prodigy 1: designed for intermediate skiers wanting to progress in freestyle, it offers the perfect balance between performance and comfort. Its versatility is its greatest strength, allowing you to venture off the sides of the runs.
  • Prodigy 2: aimed at advanced skiers, this model is packed full of technology. It excels in all snow conditions and delivers laser precision in turns. It features an ash and poplar wood core for a blend of damping and responsiveness, along with an Anti-Chip Micro-Cap construction for long-term durability against impacts.
  • Prodigy 3: designed for experts, this backcountry freestyle model is slightly more versatile than its bigger brother, the Prodigy 4. Its robust build, 106 mm waist and advanced technologies make it ultra-high-performing in the backcountry.
  • Prodigy 4: the flagship of the range, aimed at advanced skiers. Built for backcountry freestyle, it delivers maximum performance in deep snow with its 116 mm waist, instant responsiveness and perfect control in all conditions.

Faction Prodigy 2: review after testing

Tested in Verbier, the Faction Prodigy is described as highly playful and responsive, with quick acceleration. On snow, the ski remains stable throughout the descent, thanks in particular to solid torsional stiffness underfoot. The softer tip gives it a fun, forgiving character, allowing riders to play with the terrain and vary their lines.

Tested on groomers, side hits and in softer snow, the ski delivers a surf-like feeling of freedom. Thanks to its twin-tip shape, it’s considered easy to ride switch and perfectly suited to the terrain park. After testing it across varied terrain, the ski is seen as a true all-mountain freestyle model, ideal for progression and for maximising enjoyment on every run.
