More exclusive, the Reckoner 112 is on the other hand more efficient than its little sibling when the depth of the snow mantle increases! The same construction is used, with Double Barrel Core technology, which places fir wood on the edges of the ski and poplar in the centre to optimise the weight of the ski while obtaining more stability and durability. There are also carbon side rails and Spectral Braid which increase the pop and bounce of the ski.  

What is the programme for the K2 Reckoner 112 ski?  

With its 112 mm waist width and double rocker, the Reckoner 112 is like a fish in water when it's in powder, with a floatation and lift capabilities difficult to define. However, it doesn't feel like a liner underfoot, as it remains both light and manoeuvrable. Thanks to its optimised weight and its double rocker, we have a sharp ski able to turn short at the last moment, without causing pain. It is also stable at high speed and has an explosive pop, which makes it an exceptional model when slaloming between pines or sending on big natural kickers.

How to choose the size of your piste and all-mountain skis?

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.
