Description

The Gervasutti 90 is an all-mountain oriented ski from Ogso. It features an intermediate waist width, 95 mm in size 176 cm, ideal for mixed conditions and all-round skiing. Its construction mixes various technologies to offer responsiveness, stability and dampening, while remaining rather lightweight (1.9 kg in size 176 cm) and being robust.

What is the program of the Ogso Gervasutti 90 ski?

The Ogso Gervasutti 90 offers the ideal width to ski in the entire resort and enjoy fresh snow falls, while remaining narrow enough and nimble to still be able to hit the slopes. The not too substantial classic camber provides grip and rebound, without being too radical to forgive mistakes and enhance the playfulness. The double rocker, more pronounced at the front than the back, provides lots of nimbleness, facilitating turn entries and pivots, while remaining precise when coming out of turns. It is also a good asset to lift better in powder and glide smoothly in any snow condition. The result is a very versatile ski when it comes to terrain selection, one you can pick without checking the weather forecast. The sandwich construction is top quality, with a wood core reinforced by a double layer of triaxial fibre with ABS sidewalls, offering a punchy flex without being too stiff. You also find carbon reinforcements at various areas, for more torsional stiffness and dampening without any weight penalty. A phenol plate reinforces the binding area to prevent rip-outs. You get a robust and punchy ski that is not too physical but is efficient in a wide range of snow conditions and always a blast to ski with.

Who is the Ogso Gervasutti 90 ski for?

We recommend this model to advanced and expert skiers who like to ski powerfully on various terrains in the resort while retaining a playful model typical of the freeski family.

Tips and advice

On glisshop.co.uk, you may feel overwhelmed by the amount of products we sell. How can you find the right skis, which ones can suit your level, your style or your budget?

Your options:

1. The advanced search engine: You'll find it everywhere on our website, as a sidebar on our listing pages. It allows you to select conditions and refine your selection: brand, level, style, etc. When you select them, only the relevant products will show.

2. You can contact us on the 020 3129 3301: skis feature fine technologies and affect your safety. It is important to make sure that the skis you've selected will suit you. Call our landline and get in touch with our team for any questions regarding these products.

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

- by our skiman : you can call us for any technical questions. Our skiman will do the final settings for you. Telephone : 020 3129 3301

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
