Description
The Backland 100 is a freetouring-oriented model with a lightweight and stable construction, it will allow you to climb mountains looking for the best snow conditions. The wood core combines Karuba and poplar for an ultra-lightweight mix. It is reinforced by carbon inserts, they promote stiffness without making the ski heavier for a better power/weight ratio and more high-speed stability. With its 100 mm wide waist and double rocker, the Backland 100 is perfect to float above powder and trace beautiful lines. The tip benefits from the HRZN construction, it consists in widening the tip to help the ski lift. Finally, Atomic has given the Duracap structure to this ski, this construction improves reliability and ruggedness, while making the ski easier to direct and place in turns.
