Description
The Scott Superguide Freetour has 104mm of volume in the waist width, which gives it good lift in the snow, but this is backed up by a double rocker and even more volume in the tips to ensure fluidity and lift. The wood core combines paulownia and beech that makes it light and very stable, while the carbon and aramid fibres strengthen the ski and help to cushion it in difficult snow conditions. The classic camber provides impeccable grip on hard ground, while the short tip radius makes it easier to enter turns and therefore keeps the ski agile despite the volume. Finally, the light weight, with only 1,580 grams per ski in size 178 cm, gives you the lightness you need to swallow D+ without difficulty. At ease in powder, stable on hard snow, powerful and manageable in all circumstances while being good for ascents, this is the ultimate ski for backcountry skiing.
