Zag Ubac range

Developed within the Zag Lab, the Ubac ski touring range from the Chamonix-based brand Zag stands out for its performance both on the uphill and the downhill. These models feature a semi-cap sandwich construction with a paulownia wood core reinforced with fibreglass and Carbon Kevlar. The Ubac family of skis offers excellent skiability, great manoeuvrability, the best possible weight-to-performance ratio and delivers across varied terrain to accompany you on all your mountain adventures. It’s no coincidence that the Ubac skis are used by Chamonix mountain guides. The brand also offers alpine skis such as the Slap range for backcountry skiing.

What’s the difference between the Zag Ubac and Adret skis?

The Zag Ubac and Zag Adret embody two complementary visions of ski touring from the Chamonix brand.
The Ubac range is designed for freetouring – for skiers who want to enjoy both the climb and the thrill of the descent with a ski that delivers uncompromising downhill performance. 

The Adret, on the other hand, focuses on lightness and uphill efficiency. Their lightweight carbon and Kevlar construction significantly reduces fatigue during long ascents while maintaining good grip and precise control on the descent.
