Alpine Ski Rossignol Super 7 HD

Ski sold without binding.

Exit the  Squad 7, now the new big boss of the Big Mountain serie signed by Rossignol is the Super 7 HD ski. It is boosted to the core thanks to its new Carbon Alloy Matrix technology, an association of carbon fiber and basalt that makes the ski livelier and stronger. The Super 7 HD offers a better grip and absorbs vibrations like a king. With this new technology, even its Air Tip in honeycomb pattern becomes more stable.

What can the Rossignol Super 7 HD ski do?

There is a freeride ski made to chase Bigfoot everywhere on the planet. We have to admit, the Super 7 HD is armed to the teeth when you see its tip and tail rocker. Insane sidecut with a 116mm waist, this super fat floats in deep with an insane accuracy and an awesome dexterity to shred every virgin faces of the mountain. Who laid trenches in deep like that? You of course, nothing can stop the Super 7 HD: cliffs, cornices, pillows, trees you will smash everything on your path in freeride and in backcountry. However, you will need the thighs to tame this powder beast. Despite its astounding sidecut, you can ride on the slopes but pay attention, its radius screams speed, the Super 7 HD is made for speed.

Uncompromising, the Super 7 HD has been developed for expert skiers looking to smear bottomless powder fields. This fat freeride ski is as powerful and accurate as it is physically demanding. If you have Candide Thovex or Leo Taillefer’s thighs jump on it.

Structure - Construction

  • Air Tip  : A Patented Technology exclusive to Rossignol! The tip is air filled for maximum lightness and constructed to retain maximum torsional rigidity. The ski's weight is redistributed, freeing the tip and tail of the ski and providing greater ease, security and versatility. The fact that the center of gravity is closer to the center of the ski concentrates strength under the skier's feet. THE ROCKER REVOLUTION IS HERE!!!
  • Minicap Sandwich  :

Ultra durable construction built with wood cores, 30 degree sidewalls, fiberglass and high-tech laminates. The Mini Cap ROSSITOP to strengthens the top of the ski and is resistant to chipping for increased durability. The sidewalls of the skis are angled at a 30° incline to improve swing weight, reduce the overall weight of the ski, and enhance edging and durability.

  • Light Wood (Paulownia) Core  :

Experience skis have a Paulownia woodcore. It is 30% lighter which makes the ski effortless to manoeuver.

  • VAS  :

Vibration Absorption System Visco elastomer material integrated into the ski's construction to dampen vibrations, adding greater control, stability, and contact with the snow.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

  • Powder Turn Rocker  :

Rossignol's Powder Turn is engineered with 50% low camber underfoot while the remaining 50% of the tip and tail features high rocker. The camber underfoot delivers power, energy, and edge grip for groomed snow. The high rocker tip produces more floatation and effortless powder skiing. The high rockered tail is pin shaped to allow skier to have an efficient angle of attack providing easy steering and instant speed control. The 50/50 rocker/camber combination is the most versatile from pow to groomers.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.
