Air Core Carbon can be found on numerous models of skis and allows the core to be 80 % air. Located in the core, as well as the fibre layers, the use of carbon in Fischer cross-country skis make them very light. You’ll find this high-end core in three Nordic ski ranges from Fischer: Carbonlite Skate Plus and RCS Skate Plus for skating, and the Speedmax 3D Classic Plus for classic style.

In addition to carbon-enhanced constructions, Fischer Carbonlite Skate Plus and Fischer RCS Skate Plus skating ski ranges benefit from Cold Base Bonding. This cold bonding process of the base preserves the molecular integrity of the materials for better wax absorption and longer-lasting glide. These two ranges also have a specific camber which offers better stability and response on hard snow, thanks to ski/contact points that are further apart.

As for the Speedmax 3D Classic Plus range, it’s the development of Gliding Side Wall technology that allowed Fischer to increase the speed performance.
