The Dynastar Elite 8 Konect is a high-performance piste ski, designed for advanced to expert female skiers looking for playful carving performance with power and precision at high speeds.

What are the features of the Dynastar Elite 8 Konect?

Inspired by slalom race skis, the Elite 8 Konect lets you carve with as much power as grace on groomed runs and hard snow. Its classic camber with rocker only at the tip ensures solid edge grip and a crisp rebound when exiting turns. The absence of rocker at the tail enhances precision and edge hold on hard slopes. The Adaptiv Sidecut ensures a smooth transition between the tip, waist, and tail for crisp turn initiation and exit. The ABS sidewalls transmit energy directly to the edge. The Omega Titanal U-shaped reinforcement improves torsional stiffness and ensures excellent stability under pressure and at high speeds. The Hybrid Core 2.0 (wood + PU), with its patented three-directional construction, reduces the number of bonded fiberglass layers for a smaller environmental footprint without compromising performance.

How to choose the size of your piste and all-mountain skis?

At glisshop.co.uk, you’ll find one of the most comprehensive ski selections available online. To choose the right pair, start with three simple criteria: your ability level, your preferred terrain (piste, all-mountain, freeride, freestyle, touring), and your budget.

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
