Description

The Rossignol Arcade W 84 ski is designed to meet the needs of female skiers seeking a dynamic experience across all types of terrain. This model stands out for its carefully balanced blend of grip on groomers and performance in mixed snow conditions. The main strength of this ski lies in its ability to offer both stability and manoeuvrability, allowing you to confidently transition from groomed snow to powder sections throughout the day.

What is the Rossignol Arcade W 84 ski made for?

Engineered for all-mountain versatility, the Rossignol Arcade W 84 showcases its adaptable character with an 84 mm waist, optimising its behaviour on hardpack as well as in powder or chopped-up snow. The double rocker makes turn initiation noticeably easier and enhances float in soft or deep snow, all while maintaining excellent pivoting ability. Its construction includes a poplar wood core reinforced by a titanal reinforcement underfoot, delivering responsiveness, vibration absorption through the VAS system, and reassuring stability at speed or on variable terrain. The traditional camber provides solid edge grip and maximises rebound at the end of each turn, while the flat tail increases carving precision. This ski is therefore equally suited to carving sessions on groomers and forays in fresh snow on the sides of the trails.

Who is the Rossignol Arcade W 84 ski aimed at?

The Arcade W 84 is primarily aimed at intermediate to advanced female skiers who want to progress with reliable and forgiving equipment. Its technical design allows you to explore every area of the ski area. It’s ideal for those who already have good control over their skiing and wish to discover the entire resort, without necessarily seeking a pure performance or exclusively backcountry model.

Tips and advice

On glisshop.co.uk, you may feel overwhelmed by the amount of products we sell. How can you find the right skis, which ones can suit your level, your style or your budget?

Your options:

1. The advanced search engine: You'll find it everywhere on our website, as a sidebar on our listing pages. It allows you to select conditions and refine your selection: brand, level, style, etc. When you select them, only the relevant products will show.

2. You can contact us on the 020 3129 3301: skis feature fine technologies and affect your safety. It is important to make sure that the skis you've selected will suit you. Call our landline and get in touch with our team for any questions regarding these products.

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

- by our skiman : you can call us for any technical questions. Our skiman will do the final settings for you. Telephone : 020 3129 3301

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
