Alpine Ski Fischer My Mtn 84

Breaking news: Fischer is releasing a brand new line of women’s skis: the MY series. The MY MTN skis are replacing the former KOA series which went through a serious cosmetic update. The DNA however remains unchanged and the MY MTN series is Fischer’s new all-mountain offering.

What can the Fischer MY MTN 84 ski do?

What makes the MY MTN 84 stand out is its versatility. Often, you have to choose your skis depending on your style meaning if you ride mainly off piste you’ll go for a wider ski and if you spend most of the day on piste you’ll pick something narrower. But there are skiers who do both and finding the perfect 50/50 ski can sometimes be a struggle. The MY MTN 84 brings an end to this issue and offers on piste agility with off piste performance. Rockered and featuring an Air Tec construction for added lightweight, the ski performs on all terrains with ease. The traditional camber combined to the Fiber Tech keeps the ride responsive while the rocker offers the floaty surfy feel we all love. The MY MTN 84 is the key if you want to explore the entire mountain.

Who is the Fischer MY MTN 84 ski designed for?

It is a ski for advanced women skiers looking for the ultimate versatility. From piste to pow through anything in between, the MY MTN 84 offers stability, performance and fun.

Manufacturer info :

Type of turns

  • Multi-turns

Shape

  • Directional (front tip)  :

The ski shape allows only a directional use.

Weight of the pair in grams

  • 3200 (167cm)

Structure - Construction

  • Air Tec  :

Air Tec woodcore was carefully designed and set off-axis, which makes it 25% lighter without compromising gliding properties : flex and torsion remain the same.

  • Fiber Tech Core  :

Specific fiberglass structure with homogeneous flex properties. Great rebound.

  • Sandwich Sidewall Construction  :

Woodcore combined with ABS sidewalls in a classic sandwich construction, for a homogeneous flex and a perfect rebound.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Rocker type

  • All Mountain Rocker  :

The length of the ski/snow contact surface has been shortened for easier turn initiations and less efforts required.

Various

  • Women BMP  :

Mounting point set forward allows easier turn initiations and effortless skiing.

Ski Binding Marker Squire 11 ID 90mm White

The new Squire 11 ID suits intermediate and lighter weight advanced skiers looking for great power transmission in a very light weight freeride binding. The Triple Pivot Light Toe and Hollow Linkage Heel make the binding compact as well as sturdy. Its SOLE.ID technology allows the shop to adjust the binding to accommodate either AT or Alpine boot sole norms. This gives the skier the ultimate flexibility, and allows them to choose a boot with easy to walk soles like GripWalk, to make it easier and (and more fun!) to walk in ski boots. Available in 3 color combinations.

Binding technologies

  • Triple Pivot Elite Toe  :

The toe construction with DIN/ISO up to Z 18 allows for impressive retention when freeriding. The spring in the toe is inserted horizontally and with a sole plate inclined by 5° it provides the highest energy absorption so as to reduce the risk of early release. The large supporting surface optimizes the power transmission and allows for great stresses and strains. In relation to their weight, toes with this technology therefore achieve a never-seen-before performance.

  • Anti Friction Device AFD  :

All Marker bindings are equipped with a moveable AFD (anti friction device) and therefore guarantee a highly precise release almost entirely unhindered by dirt, snow and ice! Individual adjustment of the AFD to the area of application ensures perfect functionality - from racing, for children’s bindings or on ski tours.

  • Inter-Pivot Heel  :

The stunning heel construction delivers superior holding power for free riding, featuring DIN/ISO 6-16. The Inter Pivot Heel directs the power forces in the angle of elasticity improving the holding power and reducing pre-releases.
