Description

The Blizzard Zero G 095 is situated in the mid-range of the Zero G family, between the 085 for those looking for lightness or performance on steep slopes, and the 105 for those looking for lift for extreme conditions. The Zero G 095 benefits from the same wood/carbon construction as its siblings, a key component contributing to the excellent weight/rigidity ratio of this series, with a volume that provides it with a great deal of versatility in terms of skiability.

What is the programme for the Blizzard Zero G 095 ski?

The Zero G 095 facilitates ascents almost as easily and efficiently as the Zero G 085. The weight difference between the two models is minimal (2,100 g for the 085, 2,260 g for the 095, for a pair of skis in a size 164 cm). On the other hand, the Zero G 095 is much more versatile and adaptable for descents. Its volume enables fun in good snow conditions, while its torsional rigidity combined with a classic camber ensures a good grip on hard snow. It is dynamic, stable at high speed and swivels easily thanks to its double rocker. A very versatile, high-performance touring ski that you can use in a variety of conditions and on a variety of terrains.

Who is the Blizzard Zero G 095 ski for?

We recommend the Blizzard Zero G 095 to touring skiers looking for a ski that is light and suitable for ascents, but also wide and rigid for descents, especially in powder snow.

What are the main qualities of the Blizzard Zero G 095 ski?

Tips and advice

On glisshop.co.uk, you may feel overwhelmed by the amount of products we sell. How can you find the right skis, which ones can suit your level, your style or your budget?

Your options:

1. The advanced search engine: You'll find it everywhere on our website, as a sidebar on our listing pages. It allows you to select conditions and refine your selection: brand, level, style, etc. When you select them, only the relevant products will show.

2. You can contact us on the 020 3129 3301: skis feature fine technologies and affect your safety. It is important to make sure that the skis you've selected will suit you. Call our landline and get in touch with our team for any questions regarding these products.

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

- by our skiman : you can call us for any technical questions. Our skiman will do the final settings for you. Telephone : 020 3129 3301

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
