Description

The Blacklight 80 in the Dynafit light touring range ensures maximum performance on the ascents. Despite its low weight, it is remains very pleasant to ride on descents, with a waist width of 80 mm and a high degree of rigidity for a feeling of speed.

What is the Dynafit Blacklight 80 ski touring program?

With a weight of 1,040 g in a 165-cm version, your ascents will be dazzling! What's the secret? It's made of a Paulownia wood shell from the ultra-light racing cores developed by Dynafit. This core is clamped between two ABS fields and is surrounded by a carbon rod along the edges providing good rigidity and maximum shock absorption. To save even more weight, the spatula and heel are hollowed out without any loss in efficiency. It is even equipped with a notch in the spatula and the heel to perfectly and quickly fix its skin. An excellent model for climbing up the slopes as quickly as possible while maintaining good comfort when descending.

Who is the Dynafit Blacklight 80 touring ski for?

The Dynafit Blacklight 80 is designed for experienced or expert ski tourers looking for an ultra-light ski for maximum ascent without fatigue. This model is ideal for ascents, but still offers good descent capabilities and a comfortable glide thanks to its wide waist width.

What are the most important features of the Dynafit Blacklight 80 ski touring system?

Extremely light weight

Gliding comfort

Good shock absorption

Tips and advice

On glisshop.co.uk, you may feel overwhelmed by the amount of products we sell. How can you find the right skis, which ones can suit your level, your style or your budget?

Your options:

1. The advanced search engine: You'll find it everywhere on our website, as a sidebar on our listing pages. It allows you to select conditions and refine your selection: brand, level, style, etc. When you select them, only the relevant products will show.

2. You can contact us on the 020 3129 3301: skis feature fine technologies and affect your safety. It is important to make sure that the skis you've selected will suit you. Call our landline and get in touch with our team for any questions regarding these products.

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

- by our skiman : you can call us for any technical questions. Our skiman will do the final settings for you. Telephone : 020 3129 3301

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
