Description

The little sibling to the M-Free 108, the M-Free 99 offers a more compact volume that makes it less exclusive to extreme conditions. An ideal ski to take out when you are not necessarily used to the abundance of powder in Japanese backcountry mode. Its Hybrid Core offers a muffled touch of snow, its double rocker allows for an ultra-fast pivot and an excellent lift, and the classic camber section provides the necessary grip on hard terrains.

The Dynastar M-Free 99 is designed to cut big lines throughout the ski area and beyond. Its 99 mm waist width and double rocker allow you to float on the edges of the piste and off-piste loaded with powder. While it remains stable at high speeds, it's still easy to handle, and it makes its way through the pines with ease. The double rocker and bi-directional shape make it easy to reposition a switch trick, even in powder. Finally, the classic camber keeps you efficient when skiing on hard snow and slopes.

How to choose the size of your piste and all-mountain skis?

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.
