Part of Dynastar's touring range, the M-Tour 86 is renowned for its versatility and offers the performance/lightness compromise that has made this family of skis so successful. For example, its hybrid construction in wood and Microcell provides a tonic ski underfoot while maintaining a moderate weight, while the sidecut with an 86 mm waist width and a large front spatula provide efficiency in mixed snow conditions.  

What is the programme for the Dynastar M-Tour 86 ski?   

With the M-Tour 86, you will be able to reach your goals and swallow D+ without batting an eyelid. Well, there will still be an effort to make but you will appreciate its weightlessness, particularly when you know that you can enjoy the descent. Thanks to its front rocker and its voluminous spatula, it easily enters curves and works well in powder snow. This provides a bit of flotation when enjoying fresh snow, but it also allows you to descend a piste with a good grip and stability. On the other hand, you will lack a little bit of torsional stiffness if the snow is frozen, if you are on a steep slope or if you really want to throw hard on every turn.

How to choose the size of your piste and all-mountain skis?

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.
