The Ripstick 86 T Junior children's model is a versatile all-mountain ski designed by Elan that offers easy grip and sound handling, whatever the snow conditions. Its laminated wood core with fiberglass reinforcements gives it dynamism yet lightness, and SST edges improve its torsional rigidity and stability at high and medium speeds. Its classic camber gives it effective grip on the piste, while the double rocker makes it easy to enter curves and get out of the way in powder on the slopes. At 86 mm, we're starting to get some float in the not-too-deep powder to discover new sensations when we get off the slopes a bit.

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.
