The Prodigy 2.0 X is a women's freestyle ski developed by Faction and designed for an All-Mountain practice. Thus, it is cut to allow you enjoy the resort and the mountain whatever the snow conditions, while giving you a bispatulated shape and a playful behaviour helping it rain tricks.   

What is the program of the Faction Prodigy 2.0 X ski?  

The Faction Prodigy 2.0 X is a pure freestyle/all-mountain ski. Its volume offers comfort in powder snow without being a handicap on the piste. Without question, the lack of reactivity on the piste is compensated by a double rocker that allows for easy swerving, and also makes elevation easier in deep snow. The classic camber combined with the tonic poplar core brings dynamism and pop, without making the ski too rigid. Finally, the reinforced edges solidify the ski against shocks against the rails of the snow park, no need to spare it! There it is, the Prodigy 2.0 X allows you to take advantage of the fresh snow days off-piste as well as send tricks at the snowpark, while remaining playful and instinctive in your riding.

How to choose the size of your piste and all-mountain skis?

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
