Elan Wingman: versatile piste skis

Like the Ripstick, the Wingman models are all-mountain skis from Elan. More piste-focused than the Ripstick range, they are designed to retain excellent precision on groomed snow while remaining capable when conditions become more variable. Performance-driven construction

Amphibio profile and Power Line technology

The Wingman range features the Amphibio profile, with dedicated left and right skis. The inside edge has more camber to enhance grip and precision, while the outside edge features more rocker to make turn initiation and transitions easier.

On the Wingman 83 models, Elan combines this profile with Power Line technology. Reinforcements are positioned along the inside edge to improve power transfer, while the outer side retains greater flexibility during turn initiation.

Carbon, Mono Ti and Black Edition

The models in the range are distinguished in particular by their reinforcements. The Wingman 83 C primarily uses carbon to keep the ski lighter and more responsive. The Wingman 83 Ti and 86 Ti incorporate Mono Ti reinforcement, providing greater support and stability as the pace increases.

The Wingman 86 Black Edition takes this further by combining Mono Ti, Carbon Rods and UD carbon around a Tubelite Woodcore. This makes it the most heavily reinforced model in the Wingman range.

For skiers with sound technical skills

Depending on the model, Elan Wingman skis are primarily aimed at intermediate to expert skiers. They remain focused on resort skiing, with a strong piste bias and enough width and rocker to stay composed when the snow becomes softer, bumped-up or uneven.

The choice mainly depends on the level of support required: the Wingman 83 C prioritises lightness and ease of use, while the Ti and Black Edition versions are better suited to skiers who drive their skis harder.

Models in the range

Wingman 83 C ShiftX

The Wingman 83 C ShiftX is the lightest and most accessible model in this selection. With an 83 mm waist, it combines a laminated wood core, carbon, Power Line technology, the Amphibio profile and SST sidewalls.

It is intended for intermediate to advanced skiers looking for a responsive, manoeuvrable piste ski that retains enough versatility for moguls, spring snow and the variable conditions encountered around the resort.

Wingman 83 Ti

The Wingman 83 Ti shares the same piste-oriented all-mountain focus, with an 83 mm waist and Mono Ti reinforcement. Elan designed it for experienced skiers seeking greater precision, stability and support under load.

Its laminated wood core, SST sidewalls, Amphibio profile and Power Line technology deliver accurate handling while keeping changes of direction smooth and progressive.

Wingman 86 Ti

With an 86 mm waist, the Wingman 86 Ti provides a larger platform underfoot than the Wingman 83 models. Its construction still centres around a laminated wood core, Mono Ti reinforcement, the Amphibio profile and SST sidewalls.

This additional width makes it particularly suitable for advanced to expert skiers who spend most of their time on piste but also want greater comfort in changing snow or at the side of the piste.

Wingman 86 Black Edition

The Wingman 86 Black Edition retains an 86 mm waist but features a more heavily reinforced construction. Elan combines a Tubelite Woodcore with Carbon Rods, UD carbon and Mono Ti reinforcement.

This version is aimed at advanced to expert skiers looking for greater support under load and a construction designed to maintain precision and stability as speed increases.
