Alpine Ski Armada Victa 83

Ski sold without binding.

Ladies, Armada developed just for you a new all-mountain ski serie: the Victa. Super modern with their massive tip rocker and their flat tail, they have different widths according to the predilection playground; if you are more slope or powder orientated. The Victa 83, the narrowest waist of the serie is more groomed runs orientated, it is endowed with the latest technologies of the brand and innovating materials like the kevlar and the carbon to increase the ridability.

What can the Armada Victa 83 ski do?

With its reasonable waist of 83mm, its classic camber and its flat tail, the Victa 83 is for sure a powerful slope ski. The edge hold is perfect in any situations. You can adapt the pace, take some speed, do long or short radius turns thoughtlessly, the Victa 83 will stay stable no matter what. You can even correct your trajectory in the middle of the turn without burning your thighs. Kick in coming out of turns, crank up the speed and gun down the hill at max speed. The flat tail delivers a great acceleration to challenge your buddies and let everybody on the spot. True all-mountain ski, thanks to its long tip rocker, the Victa 83 will take you anywhere on the mountain, smear powder and ride beautiful lines or chill on the slopes, you can do it all. Don’t get too far into deep though.

Manufacturer info :

Type of turns

  • Multi-turns

  • Directional (front tip)  :

The ski shape allows only a directional use.

Structure - Construction

  • Carbon Kevlar  :

A blend of Carbon/Kevlar stringers that run along the tail of the skis to help stabilize it. This creates a better landing platform, especially when your weight is further back than intended. It also increases snap and adds pop to ollies .

  • AR50 Sidewalls  :

ABS sidewall meets cap construction – the best of both worlds. This engineering method combines the lightweight cap construction in the tip and tail with ABS sidewall underfoot, resulting in enhanced edgehold and significantly lower swing and overall weight.

  • Laminate matrix  :

We know from the core out exactly how each ski should react, so three kinds of fiberglass laminates are used in combination to deliver the exact amount of flex and torsional rigidity. Bi-axial fiberglass runs in an “x” pattern down the ski to control lateral flex. Uni-directional fiberglass controls flex along the length of the ski. And tri-axial fiberglass, with fibers running in three directions, beefs up the center of the ski. The permutations of the three fiberglasses are nearly limitless and allow us to precision tune the performance of every ski we make.

  •  :

Stability, power and control are paramount in this 100% woodcore enhanced with hardwood stringers. For those looking for the ultimate in smoothness comes the Power-lite core.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

  • AR Nose Rocker  :

Traditional sidecut profile with tip rocker for all mountain everyday ripping.

Rocker type

  • Tip rocker  :

Skis are more manoeuvrable, contact points on the skis are placed in order to reduce the effective running length, which allows easier pivot and a better float.

  • 2.2mm Edges  :

Heat treated, built to avoid excess weight while maintaining durability.

  • Comp Series Base  :

A World Cup-inspired base that requires higher maintenance than the S7, the Comp Series pays for the extra TLC it requires in one way: Speed.
