Flow Verve 2017

Snowboard Flow Verve

Note: The actual colour of the board's base may be different than the one shown on the picture. Brands make them randomly.

The Verve is a staple in Flow’s catalogue and has been such for years. Reknowned for the unparalleled forgiving feel it delivers and for its versatility, the board takes any rider on the mountain with one mission, have him on progression.

What can the Flow Verve snowboard do?

The Verve is the Flow Era’s little sister, a board with a watered-down construction, a softer flex demanding less efforts from riders, and a stronger freestyle orientation. You get a true twin shape for maximising the agility and the manoeuverability of the board, allowing for switch riding and park ripping. The EZ-Rock profile enhances turn entries and exits by making them smoother and more intuitive. The board feels less aggressive and catchfree regardless the type of snow you’re riding on. The board pivots naturally and feels just good. This profile is well appreciated by freestylers as it makes sketchy landings not as lethal. The soft flex pattern makes the board super playful and fun to play with in all conditions. Great stuff for those who want to explore the entire mountain with the same board.

Who is the Flow Verve snowboard designed for?

Excellent choice if you are a rider looking for progression, with a beginner up to intermediate level. The Verve offers the flexibility and the forgiveness needed for learning and remains playful and poppy for freestylers with skills. It’s a progressive board that’s not going to disappoint you.

Structure - Construction

  • Biax with Carbon Fiberglass  :

Weaved biaxial fiberglass for more torsional flex and pop. Great performance at carving or park.

  • Noyau TruFlex Core  :

Similar to the ReFlex core, TruFlex core technology features a high strength-to-weight wood construction utilizing different density poplar woods uniquely profiled to give you excellent all-around response when riding the mountain.

Shape - Sidecuts

  • 3-DT Sidecut  :

Smooth with tons of grip, The 3D Transitional sidecut blend is uniquely different between the feet, mellow for I-Rock and super tight for Pop-Cam boards. Mellow tips and aggressive radius in the binding areas gives unlimited grip for an overall super smooth agile ride.

  • Shape : True Twin  :

Nose and tail perfectly symmetrical, the inserts are centered, you won't be able to see the difference between regular and switch riding.

Rocker - Camber

  • EZ-Rock  :

Slight reverse camber and convex shape between the bindings to tackle parks and rails.

Other

  • Kush Control Technology  :

The Flow Kush Control Technology consists of 3 unique urethan features strategically placed in the base, sidewall and topsheet to create the smoothest andstrongest snowboards available on the hill. Urethane is flexible and highly resistant to impacts in extremly cold temperatures. Urethane is also utilized due to its superior bonding properties and can withstand the abuse taht a snowboard endures. The dampening properties of urethane act like skateboards wheels and provide you the smoothest ride possible.

  • Optix 2000 Base  :

Extruded base with high molecular density, easy-to-maintain/repair. This base is one of the most absorbing on the market, and you'll reach full speed even if you haven't waxed it often.
