Description

This avalanche safety package contains the Powder Bt transceiver, C 660 shovel and aluminium 260 probe.  

Powder Bt avalanche beacon 

This Pieps beacon is an intuitive and efficient device. As soon as you turn it on it performs a routine self-check of the various hardware components and inboard software. This transceiver can of course test the whole group at the start of your day, to make sure no one forgot to turn on their device. In Group Check mode, the Powder Bt switches to close range reception to detect only the surrounding devices. Once the tests are done, you store the beacon in its holster, a very comfortable neoprene pouch that you wear with a shoulder strap. 

In case of an avalanche, simply unlock the safety button and engage search mode. The powder Bt offers a range of 60 metres! The instructions on the display are intuitive and easily readable. 

As soon as a victim is detected, an icon appears on the screen. Multiple icons will be displayed in case of multiple burials. The device runs on 3 AAA batteries for a claimed running time of 300 h.

C660 shovel 

The Pieps Schaufel C 660 is the perfect shovel for efficient digging with its telescopic shaft. It offers a light weight and optimum stability. The C-shaped handle provides perfect handling even with thick gloves. The oval telescopic shaft prevents you from needing to twist your wrist while digging. This shovel benefits from the Quick Lock System that does not require you to press the buttons.

Juste like the avalanche beacon and shovel, the Pieps Aluminium 260 probe is part of the recommended safety equipment. It is advised to skiers and snowboarders to always carry it in their backpack.
