Snowboard Burton Branch Manager

Note: The actual colour of the board's base may be different than the one shown on the picture. Brands make them randomly.

The Branch Manager is new at Burton’s and it’s going to make many riders super happy. Just by the look you can tell what it’s made for. You are facing a surf board, a powder hound, a boat that can float through the deep like nothing else. It’s not the kind of board that you take out every day but when you do… it’s a blast.

What can the Burton Branch Manager snowboard do?

The Branch Manager is a board shaped directionally like a surfboard. Setback camber for added control on your rear leg, huge rocker in the nose for extra floatability, the board stays afloat effortlessly and manoeuvers naturally through the white room. No need to lean backwards to keep control, the board does it for you. But more than a pow-board, it is a fantastic freeride board because we know powder isn’t always covering the slopes. On harder snow, the Brand Manager remains relatively stiff and stable and delivers a good edge bite on groomers or on difficult terrains. Bear in mind that groomed snow is not its favorite playground but if you have a sufficient technique, it shouldn’t slow you down.

Who is the Burton Branch Manager snowboard designed for?

It is a very specific board, not so versatile that we recommend to advanced or expert riders looking for a powder-oriented freeride machine. It holds its own on hard snow if that’s what you wonder, and it’s a ripper on pow!

Manufacturer info :

  • Directional

Structure - Construction

  • Dualzone™ EGD™  :

The wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength.

  • 45° Carbon Highlights Hi-Voltage Fiberglass  :

Carbon Highlights optimize each layer of the fiberglass matrix and adds a full tip-to-tail carbon layer to reduce weight and fine tune torsional feel to achieve different ride characteristics. 45° fiber angle provides a more aggressive ride.

  • FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™ 700G Core  :

Stronger and lighter woods target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, and reduced weight.

  • Squeezebox High  :

By integrating carbon fleece into the classic Squeezebox profile, we've loaded up our highest performance core profiling with more pop. Layered just outside your feet, the carbon enables almost instant response in the tip and tail

Shape - Sidecuts

  • Directional shape  :

Classic shape for a versatile use. The nose is slightly longer than the tail.

Rocker - Camber

  • Directionnal Camber  :

Directional camber and with rocker at the nose allows for a much shorter and more maneuverable board

  • Directional flex  :

This versatile flex enhances tail's pop and stiffens the nose for a better control on all terrains.

  • Infinite Ride™  :

This Burton-exclusive technology allows us to maximize pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.

  • Sintered WFO Base  :

Infusing a specially formulated wax deep into the pores of this extra-absorbent, high-density sintered material results in an ultra-durable base that stays Wide F!#@ing Open all season in any condition.

  • The Channel  :

Now on more boards and evolved for greater performance, The ChannelM6 has staked its claim as snowboarding’s most direct connection. Focusing power through a central connection that acts as a backbone for the board’s internal tech, it also lets you easily micro-adjust your stance width and angles with all binding formats including EST™, Re:Flex™, and Disc. The upgrade to M6 means Burton is now using a standardized hardware size that improves upon performance and ease-of-use, and allows for compatibility with select competitor bindings, making it a choice for any rider.
