Discover the Flying V version of the Burton Process snowboard. It features the same topsheet as its traditional counterpart: a spaceship taking off from Cape Canaveral. Technically speaking there’s no difference either, apart from the Flying V camber profile that makes this model more playful and forgiving. With such a board, you can be sure to fly as fast as an asteroid.

What can the Burton 2018 Process Flying V snowboard do?

Traditional camber is now a thing of the past! Say hello to the Flying V profile that combines rocker between the feet with camber underneath and nose and tail rockers. This clever blend ensures you 5-star manoeuvrability, natural powder floatation and strong grip. The Flying V version is way more manoeuvrable and easier to handle than the traditional one. It feels slightly less precise, yet it can be steered much more intuitively. If all that wasn’t enough, versatility is also enhanced. The 2018 Process Flying V will completely redefine the way you’re riding!

Who is the Burton 2018 Process Flying V snowboard designed for?

Looking for a versatile Burton snowboard? Then the Process Flying V will have you grin from ear to ear! This is the ultimate pick for intermediate and advanced riders looking for a board that feels playful and forgiving. Even though it holds a bit less than the traditional version, this model will convince you with its high-end performance

Structure - Construction

  • Dualzone™ EGD™  :

The wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength.

  • Triaxial fiberglass  :

Fiberglass weave positioned at 0°/-45°/45° for a stiffer board in torsion.

  • FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™ 700G Core  :

Stronger and lighter woods target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, and reduced weight.

  • Squeezebox  :

Squeezebox is a patent-pending technology that transfers energy outward from under your feet, energizing the tip and tail for added snap when exiting a turn and ollieing. Thinner core sections underfoot transition to thicker, more powerful areas between and outside your feet for a more stable board that can be powered up and manipulated with less effort.

Shape - Sidecuts

  • Shape Twin  :

Shape perfectly symetric for keeping balance no matter switch or regular. Shape for freestyle : Jib and spins, butters and landings easier.

Rocker - Camber

  • Flying V  :

A Springloaded blend of camber and rocker performance, Flying V™ offers the best of both worlds. Rocker overall, including between and outside your feet, enhances playfulness and float through pow. Underneath your feet, subtle camber zones focus edge-control for crisp snap, added pop, and power through turns.

Other

  • Infinite Ride™  :

This Burton-exclusive technology allows us to maximize pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.

  • Pro-Tip™  :

A tapered Tip and Tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.

  • Scoop  :

This scoop shape makes the board a lot more forgiving by raising the edges at the nose and tail.

  • Sintered base  :

Very good wax absorbtion. Resists against friction. High longevity.

  • The Channel  :

Now on more boards and evolved for greater performance, The ChannelM6 has staked its claim as snowboarding’s most direct connection. Focusing power through a central connection that acts as a backbone for the board’s internal tech, it also lets you easily micro-adjust your stance width and angles with all binding formats including EST™, Re:Flex™, and Disc. The upgrade to M6 means Burton is now using a standardized hardware size that improves upon performance and ease-of-use, and allows for compatibility with select competitor bindings, making it a choice for any rider.
