"Every rider has his own style and his gear must match. Freestyling, freeriding, splitboarding, I want you to find what you look for. Call me on 020 3129 3301."

Here comes the Magnum, a board "Built For The Big Guys" according to Nitro Snowboards. Indeed, with its Wide shape, your boots won't rub against the snow at every turn, an inconvenience well-known by snowboarders with big foot. If that's your case and if you like to ride fast and hard on all terrains, then you will love the Nitro Magnum!

What's on the agenda for the Nitro Magnum snowboard?

The Nitro Magnum is a tonic and versatile board made to lay epic turns on all terrains. It excels at carving on groomed thanks to the rebound and stability of its Powerlite core combined to the grip of its classic camber and Power Pods technology. On powder, the large volume and rockers on the tips help it float effortlessly. Whatever the snow conditions, the directional shape and setback stance always offer a maximum of efficacity and most of all, a lot of sensations in the curves.

Who is the Nitro Magnum snowboard for?

We recommend the Nitro Magnum to advanced snowboarders looking for a board designed to cope with large foot (28 and more, UK size) and offering a max of reactivity and sensations during turns no matter the terrain.

What are the main assets of the Nitro Magnum?

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
